Pershing Center, Lincoln's historic - city-owned arena is managed by SMG.

We're located in the shadow of the Nebraska State Capitol on Centennial Mall in downtown Lincoln. It is within easy walking distance from the fine major downtown hotels, restaurants and the University of Nebraska campus.

Pershing Center offers a versatile facility for spectator events and a total of more than 44,000 square feet of exhibit space suitable for a variety of exhibitions, trade shows or hospitality events.

The Pershing arena can seat up to 7,000 persons with a combination of permanent and portable seating. The open floor, general admission format can accommodate 7,500 patrons. Seating for indoor football, basketball and volleyball ranges from 4,500 to nearly 6,000. Pershing has a permanent full proscenium stage at the east end of the arena. The 16,000 square foot arena floor allow for banquets and parties of 300 to 1,800 diners depending on the configuration of the set. For a more intimate meeting, lecture, concert or dinner, Pershing offers a half-house curtain divider. An in-house permanent sound system offers full range sound reproduction of speech and music for sporting events, convocations, concerts, exhibits and trade shows. Pershing's 28,000 square foot exhibit hall can accommodate any type of exhibition or trade show. The Exhibition level can also accommodate meetings, concerts, and meal functions for groups up to 1,500.

We can also assist you with coordinating catering, decorating and talent booking so producing your event is a pleasant experience.
